Live in Carer – from £670 per week

Live-In Carers are employed to work within clients’ homes to provide a timely, flexible and complementary role over a 24 hour period to organise the household and personal care routine of the clients.

The aim of this level of support is to enable clients to remain at home with as much independence as possible and to support the clients in achieving a good quality of life and improving their life outcomes. Clients’ personal preferences must be respected at all times.

Live-In Carers will be expected to carry out care services and duties unsupervised in all areas where Oxford Private Care operates. A shift pattern will be established but will normally involve a 3-hour break every day.

Free accommodation and meals

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as OPC provides a comprehensive induction and work shadowing program for all carers that join us.

The Waking Night Carer’s role is to provide care and support to clients in their own homes overnight.

Waking Night Carers must therefore be prepared to work in an unsupervised situation and be able to give attention to the needs of the client, as well as perform practical tasks.

Working hours are 10 pm – 7 am.

Rates of Pay – weekday: £11.50 ph, weekend/Bank Holiday: £12.50 ph

Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential as OPC will deliver a comprehensive induction and work shadowing for all carers that join us.

The Response Care Assistant role will combine both personal and domestic care duties with the objective of maintaining people at home and wherever possible, to restore them to full independence.

Successful candidates will receive a salary of up to £23,500 per annum and the use of a company car.

The Response Care Assistant must therefore be prepared to work in an unsupervised situation and be prepared to give attention to the needs of the client, as well as perform practical tasks.

The Response Care Assistant will work a regular shift pattern and will cover work in all Oxford Private Care Ltd areas

Working hours are 7 am – 2 pm and 4 pm – 10 pm on a rota basis. Rota options include 4 days on and 4 days off, or 2 days on and 2 days off.

Many of our service users are elderly and may have one or more of the following: learning disability, mental health issues, physical disability, sensory impairment, or dementia, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease etc.

Community Carers need to be able to work in an unsupervised situation and be prepared to give attention to the needs of the client as well as the performance of practical tasks.

Working hours are based on a 2-week rota. Full-time employees are required to work alternate weekends and a minimum and some evenings.

Part-time employees are needed for evenings and weekend.

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as Oxford Private Care will deliver a comprehensive induction and work shadowing program for all carers that join us.

Travel expense 45p per mile

Guaranteed Hours, dependent on the number of mornings or evenings worked, from £11 per hour

Travel time paid at £11 per hour
